Winclass - help
I am testing a web application and often times within the browser I will see a object that looks like a pushbutton - but it has the object property of HtmlText. Although a co-worker on another operating system sees the same object as you would expect HtmlPushbutton.
I'm trying to create a winclass to take care of this and I'm having some problems.
This is what I've done:
winclass GeneralButton : Control
This actually seemed to be working great until I got to a page that has an HtmlPopupList with a tag of "Search" - and it's trying to click that instead of the HtmlText Search button.
Any ideas? I've tried changing the derived class from Control to HtmlPushbutton - but then I get the error: *** Error: Window type mismatch - Expecting a PushButton
Re: Winclass - help
The examples in the Online Help/multitag statement might help you find the unique tag that you need in your windows declaration.
Something in the format:
for one then
for the other.
