SilkTest 5.0 can\'t see Html Images in IE 5.0
Buttons in frame are not seen at all by IE 5.0, but worked fine under Netscape 4.0.
I have a script that runs on Netscape and verifies that "buttons" exist and are enabled. One button is declared as an HtmlImage with a multitag of:
Silk does not recognize this or any other HtmlImage/button or HtmlTextField in the same frame when I run it on IE 5.0. This is true even immediately after a reboot and restart of Silk with IE 5.0 selected as default browser.
I see that the Message is in a different part of the status bar for Netscape than for IE, but Silk won't let me declare Message as a window, so I can't prepare alternate declarations.
I'm using this on NT.
Re: SilkTest 5.0 can\'t see Html Images in IE 5.0
I'm using SilkTest 5.0 with IE 5.0 as well and am not experiencing the problem you mention. I'm testing a Cold Fusion Application with several buttons, which I imagine are similar to the button you describe.
You may want to check both the Extension Enabler on your Windows Start button as well as the Silk Test Options-Extensions to ensure that IE 5.0 is checked. You may also want to check the Java extension is enabled.....
Hope this helps,
