    Silk Test

    Can we popup some input box during an automated test is running, so that we can prompt the user to enter the required data.

    You can with a DLL call into one of the Windows DLL's. Look up on microsoft.com knowledge base on how to invoke a modal dialog with a text box, and get the inout string.

    This is not really a Win32 programming forum so I'm not going further.

    I am familiar with VB so I created one in VB and just called the executable from my script, wrote the users response out to a file and read the file from within SilkTest.
