SilkTest: Help needed on Relative paths

    Hi All,

I am trying to use Relative paths for my automation scripts.

My plan files are located at: D:\Project_Name\pln1.pln
My Test Scripts are located at : D:\Project_Name\TestScripts\Script1.t

I tried to use relative path in this way to call my Script1 file from plan.

    [ ] script: \Project_Name\TestScripts\Script1.t

when i try to run my pln file ,I am getting following error

    D:\Project_Name\PlanFiles\Pln1.pln(3): Unable to locate D:\Project_Name\PlanFiles\Project_Name\TestScripts \Script1.t

Re: SilkTest: Help needed on Relative paths

Alternatively use an options (.opt) file. You set your paths up in the Runtime Option form, main menu bar, Options>Runtime, hit OK, then Save New Options Set.

I've found .opt files easier to use when/if you have a mix of paths, in which some you might want to access via relative paths, and others are fixed.

    regards
