    HotKey in SilkTest

Is there anybody here know how to trigger help on a 4Test statement using hotkey? For example, I am using do...except statement in my script file and hope to get it's syntax, the usage discription. Could I bring up the help on it by a hotkey? I know in VisualTest, you can do it by put the cursor on the keyword "do" and then press F1. The discriptions for "do...expect" statement will come up. It's really a nice feature.

Nope, no context sensitive compiler help.

That's a pity. So how do you do when you need help on 4Test statements? Right now, I do it by typing in the "Help Find" or "Help Index". It's too much.

You got it. Maybe if you call Segue, they will put in the FEATURE.

    Re: HotKey in SilkTest

This HELP hotkey feature you described is also supported in WinRunner and very useful.

I recently posted a small article on using what Silk currently provides to find functions and methods of interest: the link to the betasoft post is: http://www.qaforums.com/boards/ubb/F...ML/001111.html

Hopefully you will find it useful.

    Thank you Terry.

The "Functions By Programmming Tasks" is very helpful. I have bookmarked it. Using the same way, I got the list of statements. But unfortunately, it can not be bookmarked.
