WPF is a new framework developed by Microsoft. It stands for Windows Presentation Foundation. Borland finally came around to supporting it with their latest 2008R2 SilkTest (aka version 9.2). Borland is one of the last ones to support WPF.
DataTemplate is a way of displaying data to the user. For example, you can have an object that has some fields (e.g. Person with age, name, address, phone number). Before you will use separate controls to display the info about that person and, maybe group them with a groupbox or something of that sort, in WPF you can actually say that if you see a person, you are going to use a template that will have some controls in it.
So, the problem that I'm having is that once some data is displayed by the means of DataTemplate, SilkTest cannot see data which is rendered by the template.
