I've currently tested our AUT (Java Swing) regarding Menus and I noticed a real slow-down when it comes to Pick() a certain MenuItem. It takes about 3-4sec.
I even tested this on the JFC-SampleApplication provided by SilkTest and recognized same behaviour.
I've tried several AgentOptions.
Do you have any ideas/solutions for this?
I don't really want to use short-cuts or TypeKeys as out AUT may change and I want to be as reliable as possible with the automated tests.
AFAIK no workaround. What I discovered is, that SILK doesn't have to open a menu to check if items are enabled or not. I think, that there are some functions in the background checking the whole dropdown-list. Even with only one entry silk needs it's 3 seconds.. ;-)
