Our development group needs to upgrade from Microsoft Visual C++ 5.0 to Visual C++ 6.0 due to requirements of the case tool we are currently using. Our preliminary tests show that when our existing applications are re-compiled using Visual C++ 6.0, SilkTest sees the windows, toolbars, etc. as different classes than they were when compiled using Visual C++ 5.0. We need to know if anyone else has encountered this, and is there anything we can do aside from re-declaring all of our windows. If anyone has any experience with this please let me know.
