I am trying to use the below command to run the scripts present in the test plan:
C:\PROGRA~1\Borland\SilkTest\Partner -proj C:\silktest\silk\silk.vtp -q -quiet -resextract C:\silktest\silk\silkResult.txt -r C:\silktest\silk\silk.pln
But it is not executing it. Any ideas?
I am doing this because:
1) I want this command in the batch file which can be scheduled at any particular time.
2) I am extracting the results file so that I can also send this file to someone who doesnt have silk test.
I tried this command:
C:\PROGRA~1\Borland\SilkTest\Partner -proj "C:\silktest\silk\silk.vtp" -q -quiet -resextract -r "C:\silktest\silk\silk.pln"
and it created a text file with the same name as the plan. So I guess there is no need to specify path or file name.
1) IS its not able to find partner.exe in provided path ? if Yes then do following ..
a. Add Partner.exe path to your Environment variables
and use only
"Partner -complog 'c:\CompileError.log' -proj C:\silktest\silk\silk.vtp -q -resexport -resextract -r C:\silktest\silk\silk.pln
2)i think there is no need to Pass txt file name like -resextract C:\silktest\silk\silkResult.txt
Silk will automatic create a txt file as plan file name along with .res file.
