Problems with 22.214.171.124 upgrade
I've just upgraded SilkTest to 126.96.36.199 and none of my automated test
work. Application under test is written in Java. Anyone with the same
Windows declaration now adds a bunch of CustomWin objects that were
not present before (under 5.0.2), particularly various Panes and
Panels that are transparent to user. Recording those objects into
their own classes is not an option, as I can't even point to them in
Is there some porting issue I am not aware of? Is there a way
to 'disable' all those transparent objects, so that SilkTest won't
declare them as part of the window?
Thanks in advance,
Re: Problems with 188.8.131.52 upgrade
Have you tried disabling the 'show all class' feature? This is located in the Record/Class menu. Beware, though that disabling this feature may make some needed classes disappear as well.
We ended up creating a class map with several of the invisible layers set to 'ignore'. This hides the layers we don't want to deal with but keeps the 'show all classes' enabled to find our other custom classes.
