This is my script:
I want to run a test that has an increasing load of 5 vusers per second and to load (after Logon) 50% on transaction 1, 30% on transaction 2 and 20% on transaction 3 (total 100 virtual user).
Silk Performer has many options but regarding Load Runner it is more difficult about my problem.
Can you help me?
Either i am getting it wrong or you are getting it wrong. If all the Transaction are part of the single script, then best you can do is achieve TPS for the whole screnario, atleast i have not heard of the screnario you have mentioned here.
technically it might be possible with proper logic and support of developer who can bypass other pages for you but will not serve any purpose as any user who logs on needs to follow all the steps till logout assuming you are going from page1 to page 4 will all pages interdependent.
Other way is dealing with it is have 4 scripts which perform individual transactions.
My scenario is:
100 vusers balanced in different transaction.
If I have:
and so on
50 vusers on script 1), 30 vusers on script 2), 20 vusers on script 3) (100 vu).
How can I run a test that has an increasing load of 5 vusers per second? Silk Performer ask me for add X vusers for each script.
I have experience on Load Runner that manages increasing load without problem on different scripts.
>>>You have 3 scripts that you will be running at the same >>>time with the 100VUs distributed to them.
my answer: OK
>>> You want to start the test with 5 VUs for each script
>>>and you want each script to add 5 VUs per second until >>>they reach their max VUs.
my answer: not OK
I want to start 5 VUs per second that log on my application (I add 5 Vus per second until they reach their max VUs), as they log they execute the transaction (50 VUs execute transaction 1, 30 VUs execute transaction 2 and so on)
For this reason I had created an only script with Logon,3 different transaction, logout
