    Hi,All

    I am doing a web load test, I need to get the datum in the dataset control. I wonder to know if there is a way that I can get it, and how to do.

    Re: how get the datum in the dataset

    In order to help you or pass on suggestions, can you please give alittle more detail i.e.

    1. What your test entails
    2. Data involved
    3. The aim of the load test (i.e. what you hope to get from it)

    '.... need to get the datum in the dataset control...' really doesn't give anyone a clue i'm afraid (unless i'm way of the mark). [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

    Re: how get the datum in the dataset

    Thanks!
    I'm sorry that I didn't descibe the questions clearly.
    In my test, I have to get the data response from the server as a judgement, and the data is listed on the page through the datagrid control, and the data source is Oracle Database.

    Thanks again!

    Re: how get the datum in the dataset

    So in effect you are doing a comparison? ie. send acknowledgement/return acknowledgement(a very crude example). The comparison would therefore be between the data held on the Oracle db and the response data. It would be a matter of connecting to the oracle db extract the information you require i.e. 'Select [name] from [dbTable] where [param] like '%' or = ' ' or != ' '

    If you search for 'compare' in the forum there might be something floating about (can't remember for certain)

    Something along the lines of...

    function SendReq(sRequest:string)
    var
    sFullRequest : string(MAX_BUFFER);
    nBodyLen : number;
    nResponseLen : number;
    nFullReqLen : number;
    Jsesh : string;

    begin

    nBodyLen := strlen(sRequest);

    sFullRequest:=sRequest;
    nFullReqLen:= strlen(sFullRequest);
    If Jsesh<>"" then
    WebHeaderAdd("Set-Cookie",Jsesh);
    end;

    If Method="Get" then
    WebParseResponseData(Response, sizeof(Response), NULL, NULL);
    WebPageUrl(Target + sFullRequest);
    else
    WebParseResponseHeader(Jsesh, sizeof(Jsesh), "Set-Cookie");
    WebParseResponseData(Response, sizeof(Response), NULL, NULL);
    WebUrlPostBin(Target, sFullRequest,strlen(sFullRequest), "application/octet-stream");
    end;

    end SendReq;

    function ValidateResp(TransName:string; Counter1:number; Value:String)
    var
    begin

    If Counter1<> 0 Then
    MeasureInc("Success" + TransName);
    FWrite(aFile, Value+",");
    else
    MeasureInc("Failure" + TransName);
    FWrite(pFile, Value+",");
    end;

    end ValidateResp;

    Bear in mind, the above is just an example..
