I am doing the performance testing using Silk Performer 7.3 for the web based intranet java application.
In this i have a scenario in which I need to terminate a EE .Here i am facing a problem ,If the Employee terminated is a manger then a new page is coming to assign all the dirct reports of that terminated manager to a new manager
or if the employee is not a manager thenthat page is not coming .
I am not able to distinguish between the Employee and Manager from the user list i have .
Is it possible to write the code dynamicaly so that if the EE is not a manager it should not go to the Specific page which i discusssed earlier .Is there Anyway to come out of this problem.

what is an EE? what does "terminate a EE" mean?
what are you even talking about?
without context and explanation, your questions makes no sense.

I forget exactly what EE stands for but usually it means employee - which reading the rest of this post seems to fit. I must say though this sounds more like functional testing than performance from the way the post/question is phased.

Sorry for the confusion .EE means Employee.
The functionality of the application is that if the employee (who is also a manager)who is getting terminated then all the direct reports of him should be transfered to another manager who is active and if the Employee is not a manager then he will not have any direct reports under him .
Since it is very difficult ot identify whether the employee getting terminated is a manager or employee only.
I need to record this scenario for my performance teting .
Is it possible to script this scenario ?
What other deatils i need to give .Like i am able to record the script for single user and its running fine and when i am trying to run the same script by changing the different login id I am getting a error "html link not found", since in the second case the employee who got terminated is not a manager and the functionality of the application is that the page which I mentioned in my earlier mails are not supposed to come for the employee in the second case .
Is it clear or do I need to give some more information .
Please let me know .
I am doing a performance testing for web based application which has couple of scenarios like Employee logging in and changing their address and one more scenario where manager logs in and terminates one of his employees .
In the second case there are 2 possibilities like The employee who is getting terminated, either he can be be a nmanager and might have direct reports under him or he is only employee and he is not having any direct reports under him.
I have scripted the 2nd scenario for terminating .Basicaly the script which recorded in that the employee got terminated is a manager and he is managing some employees .
Its the functionality of the application that if the employee is getting terminated and he is a manager then before terminating him ,all his direct reorts need to be assigned to another manager who is active. This id done through a page say for example 'X'.
now I tried to run the same script for another manager login and in this case the employee who gets terminated is not a manager and he is only employee .
as per the functionality of the application this employee will not get the above page example 'X'.so my script is throwing error "HTML link for the Page X not found".
