Calling a SilkPerformer from Perl Script

    Hello there,

How do I call Silk Performer .bdf file from perl script.

I am using perl to connect DB and after i get the result from DB, I need to call Silk Performer .bdf file to do the rest of the automation.

Is it possible to do this? If yes, How?

    Thanks in advance.

Re: Calling a SilkPerformer from Perl Script

Look under help for "Running a load test from the command line" But I don't know why you don't just make your DB connection in the script and drop the perl. SP should have all the necessary functionality to do whatever testing you wish against your DB. If you absolutely need to connect via the Perl script, try executing the perl from within the script, that might be easier. Look at "ProcessInitialize" and "ProcessStart"
Yes, it really IS rocket science!

Re: Calling a SilkPerformer from Perl Script

    Thank you for you suggestion.

I don't have license for the ODBC and Oracle protocol. So i am opening DB Connection in perl and getting all the data using perl script.

    Thank you.
