Performance Testing LDAP
Our company just upgraded from QALoad to SilkPerformer so I have some things to learn but I have some time...
I've been assigned to run performance tests on an LDAP upgrade server. As far as I know right now the server hardware along with the LDAP version is being upgraded.
There are two ways I guess I could test this. 1. Write login scripts for each application we have that uses LDAP, or 2. Create a script that hits the LDAP server directly.
I found some already created code in SilkPerformer, I'm guess it's a template that came with the tool that has something to do with ldap. It's called WebLdap01.bdf. Does anyone have any experience testing the performance of LDAP? Any guidence will be appreciated.
