Previously I worked in Rational Robot and it was possible to insert boiler plate automatically whenever someone creates a new script. (It was done by tweaking some settings or init file or header file but I dont remember which one). I wish same could be done in Silk Performer as well. My problem is that no team member of my team is very keen to insert the standard boiler plates in the scripts they create and almost regularly these scripts get review comments from the auditor or the client.
Please suggest some way (or is there a way at all?) to achieve this.
Corey, no offence, but you know what is boilerplate, right?
It is the commented-out part at the top of the script that mentions the name of the script, who created it, on which date, application version, modifications made and so on.
According to our scripting standard every script in the project should have it. But we have to insert it manually so i was looking for a way so that instead of the default boiler plate SilkPerformer inserts (like 'recorded on so-and-so date...") we can insert some customized one.
