Dot Net Support
Can you help me to know whether SilkPerformer has supportability for Dot Net or not. And If yes then is there any limitation in its usage.
Re: Dot Net Support
silkperformer supports .net in two ways
they have a tool - .net explorer - that allows you to visually create your test cases based on web services, .net remoting components or all other .net classes. Simply load your dll/wsdl and click the methods you want to execute - the tool is creating either c#/vb.net or BDL code to use your defined test cases in a load test scenario.
the 2nd possiblity is the .net framework - you can write your test driver in any .net language. the test driver can access the base functionality of the silkperformer runtime to create measures, log to silkperformer files, ...
there is a integration into visual studio .net where you can develop your test drivers, run a try script within visual studio and if finished - export to silkperformer to run load tests
all this is available since 5.1
