Silk Performer File Handling with multiple Agents
For a load test I need numbers from a file, which every Agent should access sequentially and unique. With the function FileCSVloadGlobal I got the numbers sequentially for each agent, but not unique, the agents used the same numbers. I tried the function FileFixedLoadGlobal which showed some improvement. For one Agent (e.g. localhost) the several users got different, unique numbers and the numbers where accessed sequentially. Now I tried this for more Agents running several users: again Silk Performer distributed to each agent the same numbers from the file.
I need the numbers for logging in: if a number is used two times the script will fail.
Is there any way of improvement to get the right distribution for several agents?
Re: Silk Performer File Handling with multiple Agents
What I usually do for unique logins is get the user ID and append that to "user." Then you just have to make sure that all these logins exist in your database. The function for getting the user ID is:
This should give you a unique number even if you are using multiple agents.
