I've got a custom template setup to monitor cpu/memory/network stats from a number of servers begin placed under load. Thus via Performance Explorer I can view the graphical displays for cpu utlization, committed bytes...etc.
What I can't figure out is how to obtain(or extract) this 'custom' time series data to use in reports. It doesn't appear to be written to any of the .tsd files created during/after execution of a test. What am I missing?
Re: performance explorer...
you have to define a monitor report. Monitor reports will be written to tsd files during a loadtest - writting to those files will be automatically started if you select the "automatically start monitoring" option in silkperformer. After the loadtest you can combine the logged measures from silkperformer with those of your defined monitor reports
