Bypass Simulation time in SP V?
This may be an obvious solution, but I am stuck on this.
In previous versions of SilkPerformer (i.e., before V, 4.x, etc.), by default, if a simulation time was not specified, the loadtest would run until all VUsers received full response data. Meaning, if some users finished before others, they would have a status of "finished".
In SilkPeformer V, specifically 5.1, you MUST specify a Simulation Time. Meaning, all VUsers in a Steady State workload will execute for X amount of time, and halt in mid-script whenever X is completed. E.g., you specify a simulation time of 5 minutes and each VUser will autmatically repeat the transactions until 5 minutes are up.
Does anybody know of a way to bypass the requirement to specify a Simulation Time? I'm trying to run very controlled tests with specific #s of hits, transactions, etc. and cannot get around this, unless I run the test with 1 VUser of course.

Try a queuing workload.
