SilkPerformer V - IIS 5.0 \"too many users connected error\"
When I am trying to test performance of a webpage hosted in my IIS 5.0, I am getting error "too many user connected". I know that maximum current users that can connected to IIS 5.0 is 10. But in the test simulation I have used only 3 virtual users. I checked out in the Performance Explorer for "Concurrent Connections". It is reaching 10 immediately after starting the load test. Can any body tell me what is the problem? Is there any way to close a webpage connection from BDL script?
Re: SilkPerformer V - IIS 5.0 \"too many users connected error\"
I got the answer for the above problem.
In the browser emulation settings I have configured the browser to use multiple threads to download page content. That means if a webpage contains non textual content like images, music files...etc then browser creats a separate thread for each downloadable and starts downloading. In doing so each thread will use a seperate connection to the webserver. Maximum number of threads a webbrowser can use can be set by the user.
