I am running a test that has all of my virtual users (500) login to the application. However, during the test I keep receiving a message for about 2 users stating: WebEngine: 42 - Operation timed out!, RecvBody first attempt.
When I double-click on this message it takes me to my Login transaction.
Any ideas on why I am receiving this message. Also, is there any documentation that explains these messages?
Is your call that is timing out buried in a function? If so, realize that SilkPerformer does not always handle nested commands well. It calls them correctly; however, troubleshooting through function calls can be a little painful.
Now a customer...and at the mercy of support, services, and development just like the rest of you.
Most of the errors tell it like it is. In this case the was a timeout while waiting to get an expected part of a server response. It could be that the server or the network's overloaded.
In the first instance, I'd use True Log on Error (if you have SP 5) to track exactly what happens when those errors occur and then take it from there. This will also help verify that the Performer request is correct and see for yourself what the server fails to respond with.
