I need to load test a system which sends an XML request and receives an XML response to and from an FTP server.
Although this does produce a kind of GUI it is merely a progress status window. The actual kick off of the script in the proper environment will be done by automatic schedule. So there is no user intervention at all.
Therefore is it possible to create a BDF script for this when there is no user intervention on the GUI and the execution is by the .js file? How do I approach this?
Many thanks in advance.

it doesn't matter if a user or a script is initiating a request. the recorder records all tcp/ip traffic and therefore will record the request from your java script code.
Thanks for your reply, but after looking at this at a higher level I realised that all I'm doing is effectively load testing an FTP server.... which has been covered by my other post.
