Set number of T_MAIN transactions
I was wondering if it is possible to declare a set number of transactions for a virtual user to perform, then stop the test? Has anyone done this? I have attempted to set the transactions as below:
TInit : begin;
TMain : 3;
TShutdown : end;
but the problem is that the test will continue to run TMain more than 3 times. This was run using the "Dynamic Workload".
I have heard that you can use the Queueing workload, but the problem with this is that Silkperformer will not keep track of # of transactions.
Re: Set number of T_MAIN transactions
I've done exactly what you are descibing. Just be sure that you don't have a total run time defined anywhere, else your t_Main:3 is ignored, and the test will run for the amount of time you define.
