    Establishing performance testing environment

    Hi Friends,
    If any one explains about "Establishing performance testing environment" Using Silk Performer. I just started working on this.

    Well, you will ideally need three machines. One machine to run the SilkPerformer Controller, one machine for the SilkPerformer database, and one machine to install your software onto for testing.

    We have a single machine to run as a Repository (SQL7 in our case), and the MMC.

    For the actual agents, we run those on some other boxes, so I'd say that you don't need 3 separate boxes for the Perf. components, but the mosre boxes you have available, the more client you can have running.

    We've used to seperate machines for the DB and Controller so as not to bog down the controller with database activity as well. It is valid to have them on the same machine, we chose not to just to have a little less stress on the Silk Controller.

    Hello

    I have MMC & Repository & one agent with two network card (one for no proxy and next with proxy) in ONE machine.

    And two agent in two different machine. (We have more agents in Developer machine to run at night)
