Script play back completes but log shows EJB Exception
I'm new to SilkPerformer and we have a client/server app. with Weblogic front end to microfocus COBOL app on a Sun Solaris and DB2 database server on a mainframe. Recorded and modified a script that reads and passes data back to the mainframe but play back completes with no errors and no update made to DB2. Log, however, reports an EJB exception about StringIndexOutofBoundsException:-String index out of range. Where do I start to find this "string"?
Re: Script play back completes but log shows EJB Exception
You need to understand what the script is doing to your database and possibly variablize your script. For example, if one of the database requests is returning a unique id or a count of rows, then you need to have the SilkPerformer script read the value and use it in subsequent requests.
It is difficult to give you a quick answer but it seems like a data issue, especially the array out of bounds error.
