    SilkPerf and Siebel

Does anyone have any experience using SilkPerf on Siebel products? I've head people discuss Mercury products, but nothing about SilkPerf.

    Thanks,
    Eric

    Re: SilkPerf and Siebel

I have used silk test to regression test siebel, but I was only able to use performer to test Siebel web interfaces. We used perl to create performance tests for the consol.

SilkPerformer doesn't have any built in support for Siebel. Although you could use the VB Framework support within SilkPerformer to hook into Siebel. However, you'll probably need support from Siebel to find out which COM interfaces you can use.

I've also been using Silkperformer to test on the SIEBEL web front end (called Siebel Web Engine or SWE). What exactly are you trying to do?

SilkPerformer can be used for Oracle based installations using the built-in support for OCI.
