Silk Performer and Streaming Media
I am trying to test some streaming media using Silk Performer 4 and its Streaming Add-on. I've made some good headway, however, I can't seem to gracefully terminate the stream when I run an actual test.
The user running the test will either not stop at all (execute indefinately) or it will stop due to an error.
I am using the stream shutdown functions provided in the .bdh files, and this problem is persistent both in scripting Real streams and Microsoft Media Player streams.
Re: Silk Performer and Streaming Media
If you want to terminate the stream gracefully, then use the 3rd parameter of the RealStreamUrl (or MediaStreamUrl) function. This parameter sets a timeout value (see online help for more details).
Have a nice day
