Does anyone know of a way in SilkPerformer 4 to get the number of currently running vus. IE, in an increasing workload, getting the number of vus running the script, not the total number of vus in the test.
I am trying to get currently running vus to rendevu and start loading a page at the same time. By default, I have to wait until all vus have started or specify a number of vus to wait for.
Re: running users
When running a loadtest the controler shows you in the summary window the total number of users, the number of created users, the number of executing users and the number of user that failed. The number of currently executing users is what you are looking for.
You do not have access to this number from a script, but you can create your own global variables and every virtual user can change the value of it. (e.g. every active user can increment by 1 at the beginning of a script and decrement by 1 at the end of a script)
See global variables in the SilkPerformer online help.
