Cannot re-open TSV file in Performance Explorer
Here's an interesting one. I can't open one of Silk Performer / Performance Explorer's own graph files within Performance Explorer.
I run a load test, then create a process graph with the Performance Explorer. Then I save the graph by using PE's Save function - it saves it as a .tsv file. Then close the file. Then without doing anything else, try to re-open the same file I just saved by using Performance Explorer's File/Open feature.
Up comes a DR Watson error message:
Exception: access violation (0xc0000005), Address 0x78004c26
Which I'm sure does no one any good. If I export the file as an HTML or some other type, I can call it up and read it in other utilities.
I'm running this under Netscape Server 4 sp6, with no other Segue products loaded on the workstation. Am using the SilkPerformer user login (no password) which SP creates when set up.
Re: Cannot re-open TSV file in Performance Explorer
I've had the same problem. It had occurred after I had uninstalled a previously configured Repository (in SilkPerformer). I reconfigured the Repository, and voila, Performance Explorer could read it's own files again. Strange. I reported this bug to Segue; I haven't checked whether it disappeared with version 3.5.
