Verification of embedded objects on web page
I'm trying to verify that an image is displayed on a web page. The image does not have an extension that I can see in the logs. Is is called by a get to this embedded document:
eid, etype, and sessionid are variable and not available for parsing until the main page is called.
The request before me is to verify the image is viewable (IE not corrupted) so I wanted to do a CRC verification on this object. If not that then at least a verification of the size or at worst verify the binary data matches known good.
The recording is page based. Do I need to go lower level for this type of verification? TCP/IP level?

This might be the link which tells you that image is present and is fetched from database.
Select the recording mode which splits the requests and I believe such a feature is present in SP.Check the recording mode and make sure that disable caching all together.

But again if you want see image is displayed or not then best way is to use functinal tools and not Performance tools.
