Atleast I dont remember coming across TPS data in my tests,All I did was to calcualte it manually based on total transaction passed/Number of hrs test ran and doing the calculation.
There are many other such things which SP is lacking.
Thats the reason why I always prefer to tell the client data which SP reports.
Maybe some one here could throw more light on it
The very first graph and text of the overview report should give you that information.
I suggest taking some time to go through the Performance explorer documentation. There are many pieces of information you can add/subtract from the overview report. It is just a matter of getting to know how to do it effectively.
To maxj, yeah, there is a data and graph for the transaction/sec in the overview report. But these transactions are based on the transactions you created in the script, maybe it is business transactions.
But the TPS is focus on the technical transaction, not the business transaction.
In my mind, LR support this data. I am not sure.
But thank you all the same.
In SilkPerformer, the 'tps' relates to the number of times the bdl script excutes from start to finish. Therefore this equates to the user actions. I have no real experience of loadrunner so i can't make any comparisons.
As to the technical transactions... Can you clarify what you mean? Pages per second? xml calls etc?
