You can add following details-
1. Current status
2. Activities performed today/in current week: not in details, bullet points should be enough
3. Activities planned for next working day/week
4. Delay if any
6. Impact of Issues/concerns/dependency - if any like some dependencies may result in delay
Make sure to make it quantitative and measurable....do not just make it very subjective. Like you can add numbers like, 5 screens developed or tested, 60% testing done, or 5 features depend on xyz information for abc team. This way it becomes very convenient to track the progress on regular basis and even in future if want to track it down, it helps.
Feel free to add more information to it and if I have misunderstood your questions get back to me.
I would recommend asking the people who will be receiving the daily/weekly/monthly reports exactly what information they want. Although many project managers will default to progress status reports, its worth double-checking, as some management figures will actually aim at productivity instead.
