Since Apple's newest Macs represent a brand-new platform for Mac software, I thought people might like to know that Eggplant can be used to test software running on the new Intel-based Macs, using the recent release of OSXvnc 1.7.
The new version of OSXvnc runs natively on both Intel- and PowerPC-based Macs. Eggplant can then be run on another Mac to automate the testing of any software on the first machine. Note that a single script can be used to run identical tests on both old and new platforms to verify that an application's functionality remains unchanged when running on the new hardware.
