Hi anyone who knows about it please help me
---please answer it only if you are sure about it------
>I have tasks to run jmeter for 10000 , 100000, 1000000, 2000000 users. First, i tried for 10000 users, it throws message
'ERROR - jmeter.threads.JMeterThread: Test failed! java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space'.
and now i need to test for 1 lakh thread so is there any solution for this
"A little knowledge that acts is worth infinitely more than much knowledge that is idle."
Re: can we do load test by keeping 100000 threads
you might be able to set the heap setting to a larger value (not sure how, see the JMeter docs).
Aside from that, 2000000 threads would seem impossible to maintain from any single client. Most operating systems simply don't have the resource to manage that many.
Also, is your application really supposed to handle 2000000 concurrent connections? do you work for Google?
