jmeter remote testing
I have a 2 linux-machine-setup for jmeter-testing both machines in the same 10.-network. Everything should have done regarding the manuals. Both machines can telnet to each other to jmeter port.
But when trying to remote start on client-server I get an error message:
"error initialising remote server"
And jmeter.log looks like this:
2007/11/16 06:16:49 ERROR - jmeter.gui.action.RemoteStart: Failed to initialise remote engine java.rmi.NotBoundException: JMeterEngine
at sun.rmi.registry.RegistryImpl.lookup(RegistryImpl. java:106)
at sun.rmi.registry.RegistryImpl_Skel.dispatch(Unknow n Source)
Re: jmeter remote testing
Already figured this out; it was some old server-names/ips in /etc/hosts-file that caused this.
