I have a very big problem in web testing. It connected with automation testing site using Jmeter. I need to "spider" the site, go to all links and make a short report. I've read a lot of documentation, downloaded many examples, but i can't do anything - Jmeter goes only to the links which are places into the HTTP Requests, and don't parses links on the site. Another problem is that i can't use another programm, and i'm a big noobie in Jmeter. If you know anything about such method of testing, please, write me, i'll be bless to you.
Here is very simple example I got to work in my environment.
After adding a "Thread Group" to my test plan, I added a "Loop controller" and set the loop count to something resonable (like 9). Next I added an HTTP Request for the main page of the site I will be "spidering" through. This HTTP Request will be a child of the "Loop Controller". I added the "HTML Link Parser" right after the first HTTP request.
Then I added an HTTP Request and set the path to ".*". Finally I added a "View Results Tree" listener so I could see the responses.
Thanks for your help. Now i have another problem=8-( Don't you know what to do when HTTP Request contains not only Server name(for example st.project.ru/cms/page/iter) - and it's full name of the site. So, when i added second HTTP Request and changed path to .* - the error occurs. May be i'm absolytely foolish, but i can't understand how i can do it?
