Jmeter 3.0 using more CPU than 2.13
We are in the process of updating our existing 2.13 scripts for a new build of application. We did think that this was the opertune time to use Jmeter 3.0 as you can read the 2.13 scripts in 3.0 and vice versa. However when we run te same test with 2.13 and 3.0 3.0 is using about 70% more cpu on the injector and loads more GC, causing the test to break. The Jmeter argumnets are the same.
Do we need to recode the scripts for 3.0 or is this an issue?
Try reproducing your issue with the TestPlan.jmx - it's reference test plan to test JMeter performance across different versions (see JMeter Performance evolution across versions) using clean JMeter 2.13 and 3.0. If the issue persists - file a bug to JMeter bugzilla
If not - double check all tweaks in user.properties and jmeter.properties files. Also mind some incompatible changes.
