Unable to get the dynamic value
I have tried to automate the login process of the web application using Jmeter. After passing the credentials through POST method it gets authenticate. But after authentication, application generates Some dynamic code to navigate to the profile page. That code getting generate in the sub process of the authentication request. If it is in main request we can add post processor (RegEx) to the previous request to get those values.
Here how can we get that dynamic code value which is getting generate in the sub process of main request. Is there any function available in Jmeter.
I need some suggestion to solve this issue.
Please refer the below snaps..
You have "Apply to" radio buttons in the Regular Expression extractor which choices of:
- Main sample and sub-samples
- Main sample only
- Sub-samples only
- JMeter Variable
Default is Main sample only so just switch it either to "Main sample and sub-samples" or "Sub-samples only" and you should be able to extract dynamic data from the sub-responses.

See USING REGULAR EXPRESSION EXTRACTOR article for comprehensive information on performing correlation in JMeter test with regular expressions.
