JMeter - Error in Response
When I replay the script, some of the requests are getting failed with the following output.
Response code: 405
Response message: Method Not Allowed
HTTP/1.1 405 Method Not Allowed
Date: Thu, 31 Mar 2016 07:17:43 GMT
Cache-Control: no-cache, no-store, max-age=0, must-revalidate
X-XSS-Protection: 1; mode=block
Content-Type: text/html; charset=UTF-8
Request method 'POST' not supported
Is there anything I am missing which is causing this error?
Note: Correlation and parameterisation are done as & where required.
Did any of you face similar issue in the past? If so, can you please let me know how you were able to over come it?
The error is self-explanatory, you're trying to send POST method for an URL and that method is not allowed. See HTTP Error 405 Method not allowed page for more detailed information.
So add View Results Tree listener and carefully inspect request and response details from JMeter and real browser, detect and fix any differences. For instance "X-XSS-Protection" header indicates that application you're testing is protected against cross-site-scripting and the error you're facing may occur if you fail to provide a valid header or cookie or whatever.
