How to parameterize Path of Sampler?
I'm trying to parameterize the Path in a sampler. The script has three steps:
1. User logs in.
2. User adds a school batch and saves it.
3. User edits the same batch.
While recording the script, user logs in and adds a batch that has id=57 (which is a new id through auto increment) and edits the same batch with id=57. But when I execute the script, it creates a new batch with a new id=58 but edits the batch with id=57 as the path in the script is static /edit_batch/57.
Is there a way to ensure that when the script is executed, it edits the batch that is newly created? I do not see batch id being exposed anywhere in the response code as it is usually done. Is there any work around for this?
It's not that every where it should display Batch ID, it may use some other reference to point the batch ID. Try to record the script for couple of times and compare those to identify the other dynamic attributes and correlating those values would solve your issue.
