    recording and save replies

    hi
    I try to record with proxy with storing replis in file.

    I tried to do how this site instructed, but no luck so far.
    Apache JMeter: Recording a Test Plan

    tree view stays empty, no file created.

    does that work for anyone?

    The Tree view gets populated when you run the test. It will be empty during/after recordin

    I have tried to find same thing, it would be help full to see what was responce.
    few options that will be help full
    1. badboy, use that for script recording. you can save badboy script with responces and export it as jmeter script. Note, it is free only for persona and non-profit usage. for work that you get paid, you should get licence.
    2. firefox + httpfox. you can record requests and see what was request and responde, sadly you cannot export it or generate jmeter script. But it is free.

    if anyone knows how to record using jmeter with replies I would like to know as well.

    Ok Found a Solution for you....

    Add a recording controller and a view tree listener to the HTTP Proxy server and record everything to the recording controller.

    This will populate the view tree listener and you an save the replies to a file....hope this helps.

    Thanks, I tested with proxy and got responces stored also that way.
