I am exploring JMeter.I came across one scenario. If for testing web application where there are 50 users are logged in and out of them 10 are making concurrent requests then how i would replicate same scenario in JMeter.
Can JMeter open sessions?
thanks Corey for your reply.
I mean to say if 100 users are logged in and out of them only 50 are making concurrent requests to particular page and other 5o are only logged in and sitting idel. But for doing performance testing i have to consider that 50 users who are just logged in because though they are just logged in and doing nothing they are creating load on the system. Then how i would replicate same scenario in JMeter.
but basically... if 50 users are sitting idle (i.e. not in your test), but correspond to a session on the server.. so what? either simulate that (log in once and do nothing)... or skip those users (since they do nothing anyway)
