Unsure about using the Http proxy server feature
I'm trying to use the HTTP proxy server feature of jMeter to record my actions on a website because I couldn't get a submission form working through any other way in jMeter. My problem is the website is hosted on localhost:8080. When I start the Http proxy server I set it to a different port say 8090 because 8080 already in use. I understand then that I have to set the port on the browser so I set this to localhost 8090 as well. My problem then is that I start the web application off the 8080 port but obviously since I have changed the proxy setting, I cannot run the website. Is there any way I can record a submission form off localhost using the http proxy server action?
