As ever, new user to JMeter so still getting my head around it. I've been told by a few websites that UDV are not your standard variables as they cannot be manipulated post run time. If this is the case, I have a problem that I'm hoping one of you guys can solve
When the user moves in a vertical direction, they move by 6 units and in a horizontal distance, they move by 10 units. Say for example a user starts a (100, 200). If they move down by one quadrant, their new co-ordinates will be (100, 206). In order to update the map, it takes an X and Y parameter in the GET request, so what I'm trying to do is basically invoke the GET request by using the value extracted by RegEx and then simply adding 6 to it.
Obviously it's not as easy as this as I can't get it to work. I've got a few questions if you guys don't mind.
That might sound a bit confusing so here's the best way I can describe it:
------HTTP Request 1
------HTTP Request 2
Can I use the value extracted in HTTP Request 1 in HTTP Request 2 as it's in the same thread?
2. How would you go about manipulating a UDV?
Any information would be highly appreciated
