Difference between JMeter and HttpFox result
I got quite big difference result obtained from JMeter and httpfox (a plug in in Firefox), for say 1 function costs 0.2s in Jmeter, but httpfox measured 1.7s.
Anyone know is that httpfox included the page-rendering time? and the time is measured in Second, right ?
Thank you very much.
Re: Difference between JMeter and HttpFox result
httpFox is in seconds, whereas Jmeter is in Milliseconds.
Jmeter only captures the time for a given request to load, but *could* encompass several calls into one request. (for example, if a single request makes lots of database calls per request, you would get ONE result in Jmeter, but several in httpFox)
Hope this helps, and thanks for pointing out the tool - it's great!
