Recording Apache Requests with JMeter Proxy

    Hi folks,

I have a question about recording with the JMeter Proxy (in Version 2.4).
    I have this setup:
A Browsers communicates with an Apache Web Server.
The web server sends from time to time requests (via http interface) to an gyrex server. The Proxy should be located between the apache and the gyrex. (all is currently on localhost running).
But it's not working. The proxy is neither recording nor forwarding the apache's requests.
The overall setup works, if i use an ordinary free proxy server instead of JMeter. And JMeter can handle the requests if I call the gyrex HTTP interface through my browser directly (of course after adapting the browsers proxy settings).
    So...what's wrong here?

Oh and yes, I read this:
    http://jakarta.apache.org/jmeter/use...ep_by_step.pdf

thanks for some hints on this.

Re: Recording Apache Requests with JMeter Proxy

Ah...I think I found the root cause of the problem.
The Apache sends just ClientHello handshake requests, while the browser starts directly the actual get requests.
Now I just need to find a solution for fixing this...

Re: Recording Apache Requests with JMeter Proxy

Solved...the Apache was using the proxy through curl. But the option CURLOPT_HTTPPROXYTUNNEL must not be set for this purpose.
