I have recorded a scenario of importing contacts using a csv file.
While running the script following error occurs in Http response-
"There was a problem importing your file. Please verify the file is ok and try again."
Please note that I can import same file contacts manually.
Can anyone tell me, what’s the issue?
things to verify:
1. The request is a POST
2. The request has the correct PATH for the file name
3. The request has the correct file type for the csv file
Thanks for quick response.
I have verfied all 3 things. 1st and 2nd are correct.
As I had recorded the filetype was stored autoamtically as "Outlook". Is this correct?
Here I am attaching "Http Request" Jameter screen.
The request looks correct. have you tried disabling "follow redirects" and/or "use multi-part form" ?
Regard "outlook" being the correct type, that is set by your software, and I would assume it is correct.
I'm not sure if you need to specify the MIME part where you declare the file to upload.
The MIME type which is also being recorded is "application/vnd.ms-excel"
I have tried disabling "follow redirects" and/or "use multi-part form", but nothing works.
Now I am clueless, what could be the problem?
I note in your screen shot, the mime-type is not set. has that been fixed?
We relocated the csv file to Jmeter bin folder and it started working.
Thanks for your quick response.
curious....are you running this on a slave or host machine?
