I want to run Jmeter test on one website.
But no Direct internet connection.
it has to go through Proxy server.
so How can add Proxy server name and Port no to Jmeter.properties or jmeter.BAT? (To tell jmeter - go through proxy server)
In manual, some tips are there for commandline for UI mode how we move ahead?
Currently i am getting javaUnknownHostexception.
In your test script, add a Config Element called HTTP Request Defaults.
Those settings will be used if none are specified in your original samplers.
I normally specify variables so it can change for different servers.
In Config element - HTTP reuqest Default
we can set server name or IP.
BUT that is of website under test.
where i mention internal proxy server through which my pc get access to internet.
I don't remeber the exact tag structure but it can be done by launching Jmeter from the command window.
Use the -help to get the actual tags:
I think I used the command line argument to launch Jmeter with the -p (proxy name) -u (username) tag.
Actually if you run a search I answered this same question a while back.
