HTTP, JMS and Oracle
I want to be able to test the following scenario :
1. HTTP (XHTML) request is submitted
2. Request goes through JMS Queue
3. Processing is done and Oracle is updated
4. Back via JMS
5. Response on HTTP page
It's easy to do the total response times etc. for the full loop, but I need seperate response times for HTTP, JMS and Oracle. How can I do this ?
Re: HTTP, JMS and Oracle
I'm afraid that's impossible to do with JMeter. In JMeter, responsetimes are simply measured starting from the first byte sent to the last byte recieved. No responsetimes of other components are stored.
If you want to measure responsetimes of specific components in your environment, you'll need to acquire logging of that component (like access logs on your webserver and I'm sure Oracle has means to measure responsetimes)
